There may be a temporary fault on the BT email network.

You should have the capacity to send/receive emails via Yahoo. I got a free Yahoo email account when getting Yahoo Messenger.

Its good to have backup.

This sounds odd... If Outlook reports the item as sent (put the email in the 'Sent Mail' folder then it must have delivered it through the outgoing server. If they are merely staying in the 'Outbox' then there is possibly a fault in your account setup in Outlook. You will need to check settings via 'Tools>>Email Accounts' then click 'View and change existing email accounts' You will need to check the outgoing server(SMTP) is correct there is also a button there to click which will test your settings...

Hope this helps

were you able to send before?? Maybe you have to use BT's outgoing server if you aren't using their email address. If you ARE using a BT email address, then you should just call tech support.

Is your SMTP in your account properties set right? Maybe the person you sent them too has a full mailbox or terminated account. Maybe it's a bug in system. Yahoo mail sucks. stay with Outlook Express and your ip mail.
