What do I do now that I have a case number?

I got my wallet taken and my debit card was in it. Before I could cancel it they had already used over 500 dollars. I called the police and they gave me a case number. What do I do now?

I called my bank and already cancelled it. I'm at a stand still because the bank just gave me and Okay.

I hope you called and cancelled the cards and explained the problem. I believe if they don't let it go then you can dispute the bill.
Also see if the credit card companies can track who used the cards.
