I do not know about it if you are brown but if a white person eats a lot of carrots and I mean a lot the will turn orange!

The beta-carotene in carrots can turn nails and skin a slight orange color if consumed in large quantities.
It's doubtful that your skin will turn *more* orange, but it will remain that way if you continue to eat the same amount.

I dont know if it will still do it if your skin is brown but I do know if you eat to many yellow and orange veggies you can turn yellow. I did when I was a baby. My mother fed me to many carrots and squash and I turned yellow/orange lol.

As crazy as it sounds, YES!! It is the beta carotene that does it. You won't be as orange as the actual carrot color, but your skin will take on an orangish cast.
