My husband had drank 1/3 bottle of Scotch. My younger sister was visiting, and when I stepped outside the back door, onto the deck, he was standing there with his dick in his hands and had asked her "do you want some of this?" I went into a rage, threw his Scotch across the yard and he had a look of blankness about him. The next morning, he didn't remember a thing. When I told him, he was humiliated. He aplogized to me and my sister. I don't want to be stupid, but I do sorta believe hime. I mean, I've been in black outs. He has since stopped drinking Scotch, but for all of you out there, was I stupid to forgive him? This was four months ago and he gives me no other reasons, EVER, not to trust him. What is everyone's semi-professional opinions on this? And no, I don't bring it up anymore, but I'm just curious on everyone else's take on this.

If he's not a big drinker, a third of a 750 ml bottle will definitely kick his butt. I know, I drink socially and like Scotch. If he was quite intoxicated, he probably really doesn't remember it. I have a few "lost weekends" myself! His shame and apology is probably genuine. People get stupid and lose inhibitions when they get hammered.

I think that if you and he drink yourselves into a stupor, and your not sure if what is said during this time should be held accountable, I believe your in for a much more drastic revelation than him playing with himself in front of your baby sister. Wait till he gets to use alcohol as an excuse for raping your daughter later on in life. Maybe he'll use it for an excuse in front of a judge for killing you in a blind rage, for burning his supper. What a wonderful way out of responsibility for any problems! I have one more question. Guess what the biggest excuse for vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated is! That's right sweet heart. I didn't know what I was doing because I was drunk, I shouldn't be held responsible! Pathetic!
