That thing is really wrong? Who is everybody? Have you really tried to hear different opinions? Why is it wrong? Because you don't find it? First consider these questions.
There's a proverb here in Brazil that says: "the unanimity is not intelligent", so if you feel that doing something is not correct, and you have strong reasons to it, don't do it! You'll need courage, but I think it worth. I know a guy who gave up studyng medicine to try History! Everybody condemned him, but his doesn't regret his choice. Good luck !
