My daughter had the same problem at her apartment. She got quite clever and told the manager that the pit was actually an American Bull Terrier. Which is partially the truth. The pit is just a bi product of an American Bull Terrier crossed with different breeds that the Mastiff produced
The manager had no other way to prove otherwise and they got to keep the pup.

If you've already stated that the pup is a pit then your best bet is to find the nearest Pit rescue in your area. DO NOT take your pup to any plain old animal shelter as they will most of the time put the dog to sleep or have trouble selling it.
If you can find a friend or family member that would be willing to take care of the little booger.
Good luck

I'm not sure where you are ocated but ther are alot of Pitt rescues aro und that would help you find a home. If you want to get some of your money back I would put an ad out and specify that 3 references and a home visit will be required. it may take a while to find a home for your girls. Good luck...
