im not sure i would call it brainwashing, but it is social indoctrination,,,,, with little tolerance for difference,,,,,,,,, it has always gone on ,,,,, and probably will continue to go on,,,,,, yet people can make a change,,,
one example is the American baby boomer generation,, we questioned many things,,, and brought up our children as individuals,,,,,, yes, like most movements, at times this went overboard,,,,,, but we did manage to leave behind alot of the indoctrination
to let a child live his/her own life, you must accept them as a human being,,, from birth,,,,,, show and offer them what you know, what the world has to offer,, but dont restrict them,,,,,, dont set gender or society ways to be for them,,, but do civilize them,,,,, meaning , for one example, let them have outlet for any/all of their feelings at home, yet require them to behave in public,,,,,,, set boundaries from which they discover theirselves,,,,,,,,
ps: most of the things done are not done by governments, though they play a role, we as a society do it to ourselves,,,,,,
