No it will not shorten the cold but it makes the symptoms easier to handle.

The most positive I have heard about is Airborne. Numerous people have told me that if you take it a few times at the begining of the symptoms, it will cut it down quickly. I don't know I haven't had a cold in years.

It doesn't shorten the cold. It relieves the symptoms so you can rest. Rest and water are the prime ingredients for fighting a cold.

Absoulutely,
Exhinacea and Goldenseal can eradicate a cold immediatley. Its the Flu that has no over the counter "cure"

There is NO cure for the ordinary cold. Although drugs do cut down fever and reduces symptoms.
