the good thing is you were the first she saw, so you probably made a good impression, the bad thing is you have no idea how the others were.but i dont think it matters what place in line you were, you said what you did, and you offered what you could, and thats how they make thier decisions

Whenever you go in for an interview, regardless of whether you are first or last, you chances completely depend on who else is being interviewed. It is completely normal for an employer to interview several candidates, so don't be worried!
Just make sure you send a follow-up letter today. They should get it by Friday and it will remind them of what a great interview you had. You can search the web for examples of some good follow-up letters.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I don't think it's bad per say. I've gone on tons of interviews, and in my opinion, if you make a lasting impression, they might have made a decision to hire you before they've even talked with anyone else, so it gives you an advantage.
About a month ago, I got a gig from a guy who had talked with a lot of people, but I was the first to talk with him in person. A good rule I try and think about is that your the best candidate. If you believe, they will too.
Hope that helped.

Psycologists did studies on groups of people testing food, the trick was that all the food and drinks were exactly the same. People thought differently however, and rated the last taste and then the first taste as the best.
This can't offset the fact that you may be crap in an interview. Whenever I interview I always ask for the last slot.

If you did fine on your interview, it will be ok. Remember, it isnt high school. These people who are choosing people for the job have to pick the best one, not the person they remember most. So it really has nothing to do with it. They all take notes and remember what you said when they look back at it. It could be benificial if you started the bar high. So good luck. If it's ment to be its ment to be.

Get the fax number for the company and send a thank you note to the person who interviewed you. In the note, mention something you spoke about during your interview and end by saying that you look forward to hearing from them.

I'd say it good cause its first thing in the morning and shes alert and ready to listen to ur answers.....
but it could be a bad thing cause like u said she may forget about u cause of all the other people shes interviewing today and on Friday
but i wouldn't worry too much about it cause most people write things on ur resume that they liked or didn't like about u.... so it helps refresh their memory.
Good Luck

I think it is bad because the odds of finding a job being the first person interview is usually the forgotten one. Good luck on your jbo search.

Sometimes it is good to be first as you are not the follow-up to some looser that might have irritated the interviewer.
Good luck to you.
