1 - would make more of a mess than if people werent eating or drinking.
2 - Could damage the computer/mouse/keyboard if something is spilled onto any of those things and crumbs would get into the keyboard
3 - As far as I know most computer labs dont clean they keyboards etc... often if at all, so food stuck in the keyboard... would go mouldy and could spread disease.

1. You could electrocute yourself.
2. You could get a crumb lodged in the keyboard and that would, like, make pressing a certain key really hard and then you could get so annoyed with it that you'd never want to type again.
3. Cockroaches.

1) Because spilling liquids can damage electronics
2) Eating/drinking can be a distraction for other people in the lab
3) Crumbs on the floor mean more vacuuming

Food + Eating it = u must be on LUNCH BREAK!
Paying Attention + Practical = success!!

1 contamination (from fingers to dimms, processor
2 you do not mix liquids with electrics
3 you are suppose to be working not eating your breakfast (unless there is a medical reason)
