They can be brainwashed into thinking killing other people is good to help their "cause". Like how organized gangs kill rival members for no reason, just because they have a symbol or dress code of a rival gang. Don't they ever stop to think what they are doing and how it helps make their lives better or make the world a better place?

very true,the fact is...the human mind is very fragile and can easily be mainpulated through deception and other factors,we tend to ignore those things that we should hold dear and embrace anything that somehow makes us feel better about ourselves even though such things are detrimental to society and perhaps to us as well...it is unfortunate.
