So if you were married would you care if your husband and I had a "thing" over a six month period and you found out five or ten years later and you were completely clueless and he was still sleeping with you and treating you like a queen would you care? I know that I would.

Oh yea all you ladies talk a great story but you would think long and hard before giving up a good marriage over something that happened over 10 years ago. What about the financial fallout and all the other life destruction that goes with divorce?
Yes, you kick the hell out him and make his life miserable for awhile but that is probably it.

If it was a one night stand, I would be more understanding than of an affair that lasted six months. But lets get real. Five or ten years later, and if this was an isolated incident, I would be forgiving. It is every woman for herself in this type of situation. Some women can't let anything go, some women just don't care, and some women can come to terms with it and resume life as it was.

I'm with Shy Girl. Either way it's dishonest...and if you both had the balls to do ALL THAT DISHONESTY...wonder what else your capable of. No women wants a man who can't be honest that's not what a marriage or any relationship is about, that goes for guys as well, they certainly don't want a relationship with selfish dishonest and disrespectful partners.
And Shy girl I just want to add. Kneeing is to easy you got to get them where it REALLY HURTS! the wallet hahahahaha!

Yes, I would. Because if he is unfaithful, he has tossed aside our vows that we took before God and our family and friends to have a fling that means nothing! In my view, that pretty much says that he doesn't really want to be married. If he is acting like a bachelor, then he should BE a bachelor.

Yes, I would *care*. It would make me sad to think that it had happened. It's humiliating, ya know? To think that level of trust had been so grossly breached is heartwrenching, no matter when it happened. But, if it happened ten years ago and nothing more happened- would I want to KNOW? That is entirely different...

Yes I would care. I would probably think that by him cheating that our first few years have been meaningless. He would really have had to be such a terrific husband if I were ever to consider my options to stay.

I don't have a husband, but if I did, no.
If you had a thing with my wife, so long as she was honest and open about it, I think it would be a nice thing. I'm polyamorous, so any of my lovers has this right.
If I didn't know about it, that would be bad. Honesty and openness are important. I'm always open and honest, so I expect my lovers/spouse to be too.
