Yes, a little bit, but as long as you are accurate, you can build up your speed and become faster and be accurate too.
Here is a website where it will test your speed and accuracy for free: http://www.cuesd.tehama.k12.ca.us/maywood/staff/jstout/Typing%20Test%20Practice.htm
Here is the list it gives:
Improve Your Typing Skills
Make use of these wonderful sites to practice your typing. Each of these sites offer free typing tests.
Black Dogs Typing Speed Test - good 60 second test, stops you after 60 seconds. Remember to space twice after each period on this site.
Free Typing Test Online - gives you a paragraph and has you type the whole thing, then scores you.
Typing Master Online Test - gives you a paragraph, choices of 1, 2, or 3 minutes and 4 choices of text
Learn to Type - gives you a paragraph and has you type the whole thing, then scores you.
Short Tests for Fun - paragraphs; you set the time; good feedback

Have fun.

Well you have to type at least 70-80 (without error) a minute these days to land a good job. I type 100-120. PC keyboards they expect many more words per minute out of you than they did on a typewriter as a pc keyboard has a much lighter touch.
(geezzz I hope you were just joking - lol)

I type relatively fast, and I type an average of 46 words per minute. So no, it's not slow. With practice it'll be much much better.

Unfortunately it is. If you can type 10-15 words a min. without any errors, it shouldn't take to much practice to improve your speed. When you take a typing test, spelling and errors count against your time. Good luck.

That is very slow but unless your job requires that you take a speed test to get hired don't sweat it. Computers now have voice capable typing programs all you do is talk and it types.
