I only have two middle names. They are Cresen Emerson, but somebody told me her husband have three middle names. Is that illegal?

no it's not illegal!!! you can give your child as many middle names as u want. you probably dont want to go overboard though. one or two middle names are ok, but more than that they do tend to get a bit grating-- and your child may be embarrased about having so many names later in life!

You can have 12 or 20 middle names if you wish. I know of no law that limits the amount of names you can have.

Not that I know of... The more the better. My boy has 2 middle names

I think you can have as many middle names as you want. I don't think there is a rule about 'how many middle names are allowed!'

Less names convey strength. Look at how many movie stars have done it in order to be successful. Sure you can have any name you wish. But historically as well....... short, sweet and strong names confer decision...... not trying to appease everybody. Long names say "my parents are weak" and maybe smoked a bit too much.
