I hear of people starting their own businesses on their computers. What do they actually do. Do you have any ideas for a young single mom trying to make ends meet?

Hi. I have my own health and wellness business that I run from my home. I started out when I was a single parent, not really knowing anybody, what to do, or how to run the business. The company is debt free and only required a $29 sign up, and that was it...no strings attached, no scams, no surprises. There are no minimum requirements, no territories to limit growth, no inventory, and best of all, no boss. I've since grown in my business through network marketing which is a distribution system that channels products from the manufacturer to the consumer through a network of independent consultants. It's an effective system that cuts out the middleman found in most industries and the money normally paid to them goes straight to the consultants. The best way to start a business with little money out of pocket is to get involved with stable and secure company that takes care of its people through a generous compensation plans. My sponsor was a preschool teacher 2 years ago, now making a 6 figure income. You can start off small and work the business part time. If you enjoy talking to people and are passionate about running your own business this might be a good fit for you. I can show you how you can fit this business into your busy life. If you're interested in learning more, I would be happy to help you.

Hi – I'm a single, stay at home mom, too. I tried several at home businesses, but found that eBay works for me. I profit about $3,500 a month and only work about 6 hours a day, from home, on the schedule I choose. This is a great way to make money, especially for moms because you can work around your kids' schedule.

Please email me directly and I will be glad to share some tips on getting started and provide a link to my eBay store.

Hope to hear from you!

Yes, you can do some Medical Billing from home for private physicians. I use to work years ago for a lady who started her home business as a 1-person staff, but eventually she got overloaded and moved it to a office location. I no longer work there but it is now a booming business. Start small and work your way up. Good Luck!

You did not mention which computer skills you have, but I'll take stab at it. You must publicize to do the following:
A) Type envelopes and/or letters (and mail them) for wedding announcements; wedding thank-you notes; birth announcements, real estate announcements, Chamber-of-Commerce periodic letters, private obituary letters, Anniversary notes, local political letters, club meeting notes, Christmas greeting cards.
B) Spreadsheets: End-of-week updating for doctors, lawyers, dentists, local merchants, real estate brokers, salesmen.
