Men are like pets and need to be trained. You need to make them feel important "Honey I cant open this bottle" "Honey can you check the oil in my car?" Give them all of the things that you dont want to do and they will do just fine and feel like they are wearing the pants in the relationship. Frankly, I wear the pants but my man donsent realize it because I keep him busy with things that make him feel important. Im not being mean, I love my husband with every fiber of my being but if he were to be in charge of the "important" stuff we would be homeless. Good luck and dont let a man take advantage of you.

Men just want to feel like 'men': tough, hard, proud, strong. When they feel they aren't that way, they tend to compensate by dominating over someone weaker. This tends to happen in dating and marriage relationships. The domination doesn't have to mean abuse; control is another form of domination that manifests.
Women actually have more power than they believe. The feminine beauty they hold both inside and out can exert total control over a man. The problem is most women either never use it or abuse it. Learn a balance between using and abusing your feminine power, then you'll learn how to please and a gain respect from your man.

Because men by nature are the dominate sex...best get used to it...that is not to say they will not seek out our opinions. And yes, some are more dominant that others. Mine is dominate. But he is also the cheif problem solver in our home too...he is wonderful!

It is equal for a man and a woman. You just have to be strong and in control. Speak loud so he can hear you.

Because there is no such thing as both being at the same time all the time. You will be more in control at some times and he will at others. it is life, and I guess it kinda keeps life interesting.

You can only control yourself not others unless they give up that control. If you stop giving your control to a man then you will not have this problem..
