what is that unique code in my psp box?

i had that in my box when i bought my psp new and i live in kuwait i registerd the code on yourpsp.com and they cant sent the code in kuwait is that important if i want to play online or i can play without it

You mostly only need it to register on Sony's site. You don't need it to play other games online.
