I have a twin sister and her name is Glenda and mine is Brenda. I as being a twin myself think that the names should not be the same. Because people get us mixed up. I think that each twin has his/her own personality and their ways are not always the same. My twin and I are totally different like night and day. I hated to be dressed the same way my sister dressed. Our styles and taste are not the same. That is in everything. I always felt that I was not an individual being and I hated that. Even now that we are grown up what ever I do or attempt to do my twin copies me and I hate that. What I hate the most is that people will say the twins or one of those twins, never do they acknowledge us by our names.
So please don't make their names sound the same, don't make them dress alike. Let them be individual people.
If they are girls name them after your mother/grandmother/or a name that you really like, same with the boys name them after your father/grandfather or boy/girl do the same.
But what ever you decide just PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! and yes I am begging you , don't give them names that rhyme.
Morgan and Megan are nice names Dennis and Daran are nice for boys. Easy names to remember, to spell, and to pronounce.
Good luck with the twins and giving them names. let us know what names you picked out and how the twins are doing.

We named our girls Elizabeth Katharine and Victoria Denise - we utilised our parents' names...
Other twins I know - Evan & Grace; Georgia & Marley; James & Nicholas; John & Ron...
If you notice - the older twin has their name first in the alphabet... We thought it was an easy way for people to remember who was born first...

Give them individually unique names. I know too many twins with rhyming names and that is horribly sad!

I agree with the uniqe name comment. You need to make sure that your treat the twins as indivduals and it will help if they have unique names

have a few options because when you accually see them once they are born you may have a name picked out and you realize it doesnt fit with them. try not to make them sound to much alike...they are different people so they should have their own names. i like Micheal and Jeffery, Katie and Alyssa, Joe and James, Grace and Lynn thoes are some of my favs.

Hello,

Congratulations to you!!

My hubby and I named our twin girls Abby and Emma.

Short and sweet and, they are unique, just like them...

If you can avoid it, please do not give them similar names. They are indeed individuals and should be treated as such.

My twins are 15.5 months old today....going on 16th months real soon....

Hope this helps you.................. :- O
