I must admit I'm Old School, I don't download music, but I do have 120 hours of music on my PC from CDs via Windows Media. My main purpose in getting a MP3 player is so I can have all my music and listen to them in my car without the hassle of CDs.
I've been burning CDs on my stereo via a Harmon Kardon burner (which is 6 years old and falling apart). So please inform me what MP3 player is best for someone who doesn't do downloads, wants a high quality sound out of a simple machine with room for at least 100 hours of music.
So far I've looked at IPods, Toshiba Gigibeats & Creative Labs.

If you don't have a lot of money I suggest getting an ipod nano. It has a very good design, cheap, you can put mp3 and other formats of music on it, has more features than others and you can also put pictures on it. Battery lasts up to 24 hours when listening to music so you won't have to worry about recharging the battery all the time, you also get great sound quality from the device it also is very lightweight. Buy an ipod. Hope this helps.
