That's not pathetic!! A lot of people like to just do things by themselves. There's nothing wrong with that!

My teacher told us that she loves to do a lot of these kinds of things by herself. There are people who are extroverts and people who are introverts. We're all different. She even told us that she went on an ALASKAN TRIP by herself.

If you're happy, you're happy. Whatever floats your boat.
Now just go and have fun. : }

Listen, there is nothing wrong with going to the movies by yourself. You are sitting in a dark room and shouldent be talking through the movie anyway (unless you like popcorn in your hair). You should be confident enough in yourself to be able to do anything you want on your own. If you are worried about the few min you will be sitting there "exposed" as a single person... bring a book to read for that time. Ive never seen someone sitting alone and thought of them as a looser. Enjoy the movie and forget anyone who tells you different. If someone wants to pass judgement on you because you are alone then they are not people you want to have anything to do with anyway. Enjoy your movie.

If you really want to see the movie...GO! :) To me, it would show you're confident in yourself enough not to CARE if someone saw you as a loser for seeing a movie alone. Besides, if you do it often enough, you may run into someone else that doesn't have a movie date?! Good luck

Absolutely NOT pathetic! The movies are the perfect thing to do alone (at least in public). Once the lights go down, who cares if you're alone? I go all the time by myself when my wife can't or does'nt want to see the same thing.

I go to the movies alone all the time and I'm married. Once I'm there I notice others that came alone as well. People go to the movies alone more often than you think, and you shouldn't be the least bit ashamed to do it yourself. Come to think of it, I've never looked around a theatre looking to notice who came along and who didn't. Have you...........

No way ... go to the movies alone. I think it's super classy when I see women by themselves. I met my wife when she was alone. She was at a coffee shop reading and simply enjoying her own company ... now that's a woman! Good luck.

You should go but bring your cell phone.When your almost going to your seat at the hall open your phone and pretend your talking to your boyfriend.Lol.Also pretend that he said that he could not make it and when your sitting pretend your mad.Then people will think you are not alone and you have a boyfriend.So they think you are not alone.
