I used to have a book as a child that became a family tradition to read it on Christmas Eve. The Christmas Cookie Sprinkle Snitcher.

The copy my parent's had was ruined in a flood. I have been looking for it for a few years now for my girls and I know it's out of print. I found copies being sold for $1500. Anyone have any other ideas of where I can look.

I checked eBay, Amazon, ect..

WOW! What a bummer about the flood. Was it covered at all for insurance purposes? I don't guess any of your knew the monetary worth. I myself lost a number of books in a flood late last year.

Anyway, another few sites to check: www.fetchbook.info and www.addall.com compare different bookstores on line. Fetchbook shows prices from $325.00 to $1249.00. Wow.

You can try www.bookfinder.com, too. If you go this route (any on-line), make sure you check out return policies and the like. I sell on-line through Amazon and eBay and feel pretty good about buyers and sellers, but some others may not offer you any protection. There were two different ones to look at on this site. Links are below.

Bamm.com has hard-to-find section(the prices for The Christmas Cookie Sprinkle Snitcher there ranged from $400 and up), barnesandnoble.com has their used book section (the cheapest there was $336), and bestbookbuys.com had a short list all in the $390s.

i stumble on revealed books a impressive replace from my days watching a exhibit screen. i think of writing is an historical paintings, or perhaps however the books are not copied by utilising hand anymore there is in simple terms one thing approximately keeping your very own actual reproduction of a e book. i'm a sort of human beings who are not even twenty and are already reminiscing with regard to the old days however... from time to time I examine ebooks and then purchase the actual reproduction if i like it.

www.bestbookbuys.com searches the inventory of many online book sellers, both used and new. It includes alibris.com, abebooks, half.com, and many others, and they are organized by price, including shipping.

Check if your library has a copy. You won't own it, but you can check it out every year.
