check the battery cables to see if they're loose... then try to get the acid off of them. but its probably the alternator. and you just get a part from a junkyard and replace it.

There are a number of things to try. First of all, clean the battery terminals. Try to start the car, if you hear a click, then the solenoid is pulling in and either the battery is low on voltage, the contacts inside the solenoid are not making contact or the starter motor is bad. If you can pull the starter, take it to an auto parts store like autozone and have them test it for you. The last time I had the same problem, it was the contacts on the solenoid. I cleaned them and also put new brushes on the starter and never had another problem with it.

whats it doing?is it just clicking?if it is,then it could be the battery terminals dirty or loose, also it could be the solenoid on the starter.check the battery terminals first and if its just clicking, then the solenoid isnt kicking the starter in.

you might check too see if the fuel injecters are clogged if so that could be one reason for it not starting. other things like a loose battery cable or wire could reasons as well for it not starting.
