The British can't be traitors to the United States, because treason is a crime committed by a citizen against his or her country, and Britain is not part of the United States.

Your question suggests that you think the whole world owes America allegiance and all the rest of the world should do things America's way. That's exactly the kind of stupidity that got the USA into its current terrible mess in the first place.

Call George W Bush, he'll probably give you a job!

I don't think so. We're in the middle of a Shia VS Sunni Civil War in Iraq and should just let them kill each other. We need our troops on the Mexican border because who knows when the Mexican Army's going to come through there and knock down our fence.

We need to secure our own borders and give up on empire building in the Middle East. We don't have enough troops to begin with.

You have the reason for the withdrawl wrong. Basara and southern Iraq are under Iraqi control and for the most part stable.
The problem is the center of Iraq. There is something brewing in Iran the situation in Iran is not exactly stable.

No. Not traitors. At least not for that. I suppose they might be considered traitorous for not pointing out that the invasion of Iraq was asinine to begin with.

They never said that they were going to stay there forever therefore they are not traitors; they never made any promises.

Don't hate the British for doing what's right.

No, they are realizing that this war is never going to end and lives are being lost in vain. If the US was smart we would also withdraw. If GW Bush thinks we are going to democratize the middle east he's crazy.

no! THEY ARE BEING REALISTIC AND LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE! unlike the united states under bush, who continues to claim that this civil war is winnable! he is a fool! the british are right in getting out! i hope they pull ALL TRHEIR TROOPS OUT!! it might send a message to our congress, that it is time to get out of the civil war, and let these insurgents and militias fight it out and solve their history for themselves, just like we did back in the 1860's during the civil war! did the rewst of the world intervene? NO!! AND WE SHOULD LET IRAQ ALONE TO SOLVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS! PLUS WE SPEND 100 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!! OVER THERE! TAHT MONEY COULD GO TO IMPROVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE IN AMERICA! i hope englan pulls all thier troops out! maybe we w ill learn from them!

Are you implying the British are traitors because they are pulling their troops? To be a traitor, they would have to have sworn allegiance to us, which they didn't.

No the british realize it is pointless to fight in Iraq, they have done their part to support the US. It is time for them to head home.
