No these are Windows folders and will allways come back.

If they are empty why bother deleting them. They are not using any disk space as such

The My Recdeived Files and My Shared Folders are Windows System Folder and part of the fabric of the Operating System and as such Windows will not let them be deleted from the My Documents Folder.

If an instance occurs when they are deleted, Windows will merely reinstate them when it next reboots.

Hope this helps...

No. It is because one of two things:

They are "special folders" and windows will not let you delete them or

they have hidden files in them that are in use by your computer.

I am not sure why the folder will delete at all, but it does and because of the files contained in that folder it will always return.

You could try to move the files, but it will cause more pain than profit. I would try to hide the folder instead if possible. However even hiding a folder like that could cause you to lose some functionality in certain applications that are using that folder.

Good Luck!

I dont think that there is a way to remove these for good. Like someone said - they are probably special folders and cant be deleted by windows. Why do you have to delete them for good though???
