a person whom i believe i will be working beside,called me and said 'you'l get a bonus in your first pay pack if you bring in a sky hook with you as they are extremely difficult to find ?where would i buy one .

Are you talking about a sky hook gaffer clamp? A sky hook brand reciever hitch? A sky-hook helicopter?
I work in the Hospitality Industry as a General Manager and have never heard of needing something like this.

i would not believe anyone who said that to me, mainly because i have no idea what a sky hook is! maybe they were just having a joke? i dont see how you buying something for you new job would get you a bonus?! i would not bother! x
