My hubby always holds the door for me - the true gentleman that he is. But, he does hold the door for the next person. If I'm alone I do the same. Common courtesy.

Always, it is rude not to, especially if they are older, or juggling kids, or have a disability or something. Funny though, I am pregnant and find people now hold the door more often for me, however I don't think that me being pregnant should matter. It is just simple courtesy.

Yes because it is the polite thing to do. Plus, it is nice when someone opens or holds the door for you!!!

always and if there are several people coming out or going in then I hold the door for all of them...

Usually - though once I accidentally dropped the door on a lady and nearly knocked her over. She didn't seem to believe it was an accident.

heck yes!!! not only is it "mannerly" but usually any act like that will make someones day! as will a smile and a sincere "how are you, hope your doing well" will. True gentlemanism!! (and ladyism hahah)
