When I type in a letter in my search bar, everything that has ever been looked up, that starts with that letter comes up under the search bar, how do I get rid of that stuff?

You can press the down arrow button on the searches you have looked up and just press the delete key.

That's your Auto Complete function, but yeah it can get pretty cluttered after awhile. If you'd rather just turn off Auto Complete altogether, then open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Content > Auto Complete > then uncheck Web Addresses or Forms or Usernames and Passwords on Forms. There you also have the option to Clear Forms or Clear Passwords if you don't want to completely turn off Auto Complete.

If you have internet explore, go to Tools on your menu bar. select internet options,

click Delete Cookies
click delete temp files
click clear history.

Also I some times would

click on the Content tab in the internet options window and
click autocomplete
click clear form
click clear password

U can click on the search bar. Move the mouse over the fill-ins and press delete and keep it pressed until it disappears or u can seek professional help.

↓ Browsing history
↓ Delete History
↓ Delete Forms

To get to Internet properties:

↓ Control Panel

or

↓ Right - Hand click your Internet browsing icon and select properties

or

↓ Tools - Internet properties

In firefox simply go to tool and clear private data.
