Have you read The Illuminatus Trilogy?

I have only met one other person who has ever read all 3 books. What did you think about them. Do you see more and more things every day that are like things from the book? Am I nuts?

Once as a twenty-year-old student, and again a few years ago out of curiosity and nostalgia.

It was less impressive but more interesting the second time. The whole idea of corrupted and manipulated media was of course not not new, but "fnord" has developed a life of its own.

For the spirit of the age there are many books possibly more telling... George Orwell to Aldous Huxley to Franz Kafka?
