No, not at all. Nice try, though.

BTW, contrary to what another clueless poster stated, wedding gifts that you receive are NOT taxable to you. If someone is unusually generous, THEY might have Gift Tax to pay, but you will not. Gift Taxes are ONLY paid by the giver, not the recipient.

No, they are not - except if you can claim (and justify it) as an expense, either medical, business, or other permitted by the IRS.
