I really like The Corrs - not any song in particular, they are all good. They are a fun pop-ish Irish group.

I also strongly suggest broadway music. The best one I've heard lately is Boy from Oz, the main character is played by Hugh Jackman - wolverine sure can sing!

Not knowing indepth what your into, it's hard to make a suggestion, but maybe you should try Pandora.com - on it you create stations, based on a favorite song or group, and it finds similar music you might like. I have stations based on everything from Snow Patrol to Frank Sinatra and I'm always finding new artists and songs I like.

You should try out some Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Augustana is also very good. A song I really like is Always Something by Switchfoot.

If you like nice songs look toward the pop/new country female singers. No vulgarity, lots of romantic songs. YEA I know its country, BUT ITS NOT YOUR FATHERS COUNTRY ANYMORE.
Give a listen to Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood.
Then tell us what you think.
