Hi , will be traveling Egypt by road (truck ) need some advices?

You must be one bold adventurer. Well, i can only answer for Egypt, but you should have included areas you will be visiting, the more the details, the more we will be able to help you.

- Anyways, make sure you have a valid int'l driving license because you are going to drive through many check points.

- Don't exceed speed limits
- Don't drink or carry any alcoholic beverages during your drive
- Always carry a map because road signs are almost non-existent
- When in doubt ask, people are friendly and most speak english. You can drive hundreds of miles in a wrong direction, so make sure you ask if you are not sure.
- Fuel up often because gas stations can sometimes be a distance apart
- Fuel up 92 octane gas, gas quality is not that great, never fuel up on 80 or 90 octane.
- Some roads can be dangerous, driving in egypt is very different from any where else on this planet. Expect the unexpected and keep cool, you will get used to it after a while.
- Plan ahead and ask locals for advice.
