I want to put inline fuel pump on my honda engine for a future turbo setup. My stock fuel pump will remain in place, and inline pump will be used to get additional fuel for turbo. Question is, can I install inline pump now, eventhough I am not putting turbo yet? Or should I just wait and put it all together? If I put inline pump now, is there any drawbacks or hazards?

Walbro makes a replacement fuel pump that flows up to 255lph but will fit in place of the stock fuel pump. I used this on my prelude and had no problems. Your normal turbo car won't need enough fuel that you would need anything beyond that and it normally runs quite a bit cheaper than an inline pump.

Just stick with the factory one for now. Who knows, you may total the car tomorrow. If and when, you put the turbo on, a lot of them offer kits that have all the parts you need to complete the installation. The 2 pump idea isn't necessary. Good luck

i dont see a need for 2 fuel pumps in the first place your injectors can only take so much pressure then somethings going to give and gas will be all over hot motor have fun
