Has anyone ever been to the Pirate's Dinner Adventure in Orlando? It's quite expensive, and I'm wondering if it is worth the money. How's the show? The food?

I went this past December. At that time, it had a Christmas theme to the show, but I am sure that it is similar all year long.

The show was actually pretty good. The center of the dining area is a "ship" which is actually surrounded by water! During the show the audience is divided in sections, and each section is assigned a pirate to cheer for. There was some audience participation, too, which was really fun. Some people were chosen to hoist flags up for "their" pirate at certain times. I enjoyed the show quite a bit. Afterward there was some music and dancing back in the "main" room.

The food was not too bad. Not the greatest, but the money is more for the show. If you like pirates, or just want to do something a little different, it was pretty cool.

Yes, we went the last time we were in Florida (2005), and everyone in our family loved it. At the time my brother was 9 and I was 12. He actually got to do a little part in the show. I found it very fun and I was quite upset when it was over. The show was spectacular. The food was pretty good too, but I do remember that my soda was watered down when I took my last sip (just one of those things you remember, not that it matters). We have gone and seen Medieval Knights many times and still love that. But when we went last time, my parents finally wanted to see something different. So, we went and did this. We actually got front row tickets for the price of regular seats. I'm pretty sure our pirate was the red one (they do the same thing like Medieval Knights). My brother and I even got a picture with him after the show. In my opinion (and my parents), it is defiantly worth the money!!

We all loved it and plan on going again the next time we are in Florida!
