I heard a story about the President saving a fellow fisherman who was drowning he ws while vacationing in Maine. He got out of the boat, walking on water. Mr. Bush reached the drowing fisherman and saved him. The next day the N.Y. Times headline read, "Bush can't swim!"

Denounce? Heck, we'd probably give him a standing ovation for 1) Making a completely honest and truthful statement 2) Getting the facts right, and 3) Not biffing the grammar!

My understanding is that George only declared water wet after being given permission by his boss Cheney. Even then, only after the script was written for him could he make the announcement (in front of a friendly partisan audience.)

Except that Bush is more likely to hold a press conference to declare that water is not wet and therefore there is no threat fromthe rising sea levels caused by gloval warming.

Then all the rightwing loonies will be declaring that wetness is just a theory.

He has lied about so many things the knee jerk reaction would be that he is lying again. Once the miracle of truth is discovered than they would agree that water is wet.

They would call him a liar, say that Cheney and Haliburton started this idea for profit and that Carl Rove is responsible for making the left look bad once again by spreading this information.

Not that I admit to being loony, that is somebody that still supports this corrupt and criminal man. In answer to your question, that might be the most sensible thing that he has said in all his years in politics that he wrote for himself. Why would I denounce this coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals for it.
