Gosh, there actually was a Marie of Romania, who made a highly touted visit to the US in the 20s. I just know her from Dorothy Parker's verse:

Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Romania.

Sorry, I know this has nothing to do with your question, but it was too good a chance to pass up.

Yes.Princess Ileana's three children Dominic Habsburg- Lothringen, Maria-Magdalena Holzhausen and Elisabeth Sandhofer. They just got the Bran castel back.There is also King Mihai of Hohenzoller Sigmaringen who is the son of Carol the second, Maria's first born son. Carol was also known as the Playboy King and he had a son from his first marriage, Mircea but the marriage was cancelled by the royal family. Mircea in his turn had a son who also lives today, Paul but he is not recognized by the royal family.

I'm not sure whom you mean. Princess Marie Hohenzollern of Romania (b.1964) married Kazimierz Wieslaw Mystkowski in New York on the 16th September 1995. Presumably they live still in the US but I don't know of any children. If this is not the woman you mean, please post again with a date of birth and I may be able to help.

I met a guy at Cambridge who was called Calinescu and his father or grandfather had been a big shot in the government in Romania and they had to skip the country when things went against them. He is living in England.
