Based on your answers, you're likely to be most fertile from Wednesday, November 8, 2006 to Monday, November 13, 2006. If you were to get pregnant during that time, your due date would be Saturday, August 4, 2007. It tell's me i 'm 17 week's should i be 15 week's??

Not everyone can be absolutly certain of the exact date of conception, unless, like you, they consult an ovulation calender so doctors always count from the first day of your last period. They count 40 weeks from that day to get the due date, but they give or take 2 weeks either side for the baby to be born. Most women ovulate about 10-14 days after their period, thats why the induce women that go over their due dates by more than about 10 days.
They're saying that you're 17 weeks pregnant, because thay've gone from your period.
I hope this helps you.

It's because your LMP is recordable since you know that it actually happened. There is no way to no the exact day you ovulated or when the baby was conceived, it would only be a guess. So they do say you are 2 week further along than you really are for that reason. So your baby is only 15 weeks old, but you are 17 weeks pregnant.

The weeks in pregnancy begin the day your last period started, which is usually about 2 weeks before you conceive. It is a little confusing. They calculate it this way because it every woman definitely knows when they had their last period, but the exact date of conception is unknown (it can take sperm 2-3 days to reach the egg, so conception won't even happen on the day you have sex).

They count from day 1 of your last period, not from the day you conceived. I don't know why. It seems pretty screwy to me that at the instant your baby is conceived, you're already 2 weeks pregnant.
