love this show,but I am confused, why was the hatician shooting HRG, "not to kill him" was the hatcian taking Claire into hiding? The preview for next week looked like he didn't get brainwashed..did I miss something?

ALSO they showed next weeks episode and someone asking HRG if he still remembers his orders and of course, HRG laughs at the joke..so is he or isn't he evil? good god, this show will be the death of me.

Well we don't know for sure, as like everything else that we see, but from my own personal feeling is that yes The Hatian is taking Claire into hiding so the "Organization" can't use her as a test dummy. But then again The Hatian also told HRG that he was working for someone who superceded his orders, but if he was referring to the HRG's supiriors then why not turn Claire in? I guess we will have to see!

Yes, he shot HRG, then mindwiped him, that way HRG won't remember that Claire and the Haitian got away or where they went OR that there even was a Claire. That way if he is captured they could hopefully deduce that the Haitian shot HRG and took Claire. And he would never have to deal with people trying to read his mind to know that he's known about Claire all along.

I know this show is going to have many twists and turns . I cant follow it sometimes . Hrg got his mind erased so that they cant find out where claire is or has gone .

The Haitian shot him to give him cover so his "company" would not kill him and the rest of the family. This made it look as if Claire escaped her father's clutches but he will not remember when it happened.
Since they captured Matt the mind reader, the Haitian had to go deep into her dad's mind to make sure that he had no memory of being shot or who took Claire, or even remember Claire. He has known for quite some time that she was "special" which would jeopardize his life. So with no thoughts in his head, Matt would not be able to pick up on a stray thought, the same way he had when he had been picking up on Claire's thoughts.

Simple. He had to be shot by the Haitian so as not to be shot by the company. HIs memories of Claire and her power were removed. Only those memories. That way they can't prove Bennett hid here all these years and kill him and his family. That was something they forgot to showThe haitian erasing Sondra's and Lyle's memory as well as the memories of everyone she knew. I can see Sondra making a mess out of this.

he had to make it look like HRG didnt have anything to do with the whole conspericy (sp?)..... does he even have a name besides horn rimmed glasses?
