No. Don't try to find supernatural explanations for things that happen in the real world. Robotics is the product of years of science and engineering. The Holocaust was the product of years of hateful incitements, scapegoating, and national stress.
All of these things have real, human origins, for good or bad.

Fascism gone wild, power and the will to maintain power. The Jews were the greatest resource a nation could have because the were the common thread of commerce in the world. They were the people that could bridge the gaps in communication and make the deals to bring goods and services to your nation. The Jews developed wealth in their community and in their country. The will of the people was influenced by the fear that good service would save your life. Fight for the county or pay the ultimate price. When prejudice goes this way thing loose a sense of reality, people go nuts for the praise of the leadership. The whole thing is ugly. When they did not win the war (Thank god) The stories were told. The money has to be the answer. Greed is the sin the world rose up to put down.
