You can NOT get a virus from youtube. You don't download videos...they are streamed which means there is 0% chance of getting a virus unless the site was hacked...which won't happen

Although you could potentially pick something up, it is unlikely that you will get more than a few cookies.
Many don't realize that you don't have to download anything in order to be infected by some sort of virus or other bad program, but sites like YouTube have alot invested in their users. If they didn't keep an eye on things, then they would likely get shut down, or people would stop going to their site.

youtube is pretty safe, i have never gotten a virus from there, and i have never heard of someone getting a virus from there. its a cool site, dont worry about it and go enjoy some cool vids :)

I haven't gotten any, but I use AVG free 7.5 Antivirus too. You can get a virus right here surfing Yahoo if you don't keep yourself protected anyway. So don't be silly.

you can only get viruses and worms from downloading. the only thing you can get from youtube is spyware and you can take that off with ad-aware that you can download from download.com
