i worked for a us company over seas and i paid my taxes every year, i have paid in us unemployment

No not to my knowledge because here in the USA we pay into our unemployment whereas in other coutries they may not. You can only draw unemployment from the state you worked in.

it depends on the terms of your employment.

You were working in another country. Were you working legal with a green card etc or was it under the table. If it was under the table then 100% sure you cannot claim UI.

If it was Legal, then it may depend on the REASON you quit. Many countries (including canada, where I live) will not give you UI if you quit unless it is for a set acceptable reason (like Sexual Harassment or a drastic cut in your hours or pay).

Your work place SHOULD have available a copy of the workplace laws applicable to them (again, that's something thats a law in canada.. that all employees have access to the laws)
