Certain types of birth control can do it. Like birth controls that make it so you only get your period like a once or twice a year. And those do it because when you get your period your body is just basically releasing lots of hormones besides some blood. If your not releasing the hormones than you could create a higher level of testosterone.

Also... I don't know if this is true or not.. but when I see women with A LOT of muscle build-up basically like a body builder. They look like a man more than anything with their facial structure and their body structure so that might make testosterone levels increase also.

If your worried about your level of testosterone talk to your doctor about it, and maybe they can give you some small doses of hormone pills.

Lack of other hormones. Women athletes have high levels of testosterone, but very low estrogen levels.
