I installed cable in my room, and it was fine and all until it started screwing up. When I went to check on the cable hook up the coax cable head broke off. I also noticed that when I hold the coax cable in the channel comes in really good but the second I let go it go fuzzy again. I tried using electric tape to hold it in but it doesn't work. what should I do?

Get a new connector at Radio Shack. It needs to be crimped on the cable with a crimping tool. You can use pliers in a pinch.

Head to any electronics store and buy a new cable. Make sure it's an RG6 coax cable to ensure the best picture quality. If the actualy connection on the wall is broken, that whole plate can be replaced just as easily.

Take the cable connector that has come off with you to a Radio Shack. Ask for a "screw in" replacement. The screw on/in type coaxial connector does not rquire any special cripming tool. Follow the directions on the package and put the new connector on the cable.

Good to go!

get a new coax cable with the connector. Or cut it and splice a new connector on.
Probably simpler just to get a new coax cable.
