Looking at the multitude of democrate vs. republican responses to most of the questions in this topic, why does either seem to think any American likes to see our people dying in Iraq?
Why do we attack each other? Blame each other for the state of the war in Iraq when it was one person not a party that got us into this mess because of a personal vendetta?

I mentioned the one man vendetta due to his commentation: "After all this is the guy who tried to kill my dad."

Of course no one wants to see the deaths of thousands of brave Americans or innocent Iraqis. Questions are often phrased to rile the other side not so much to seek information. Those posting such questions often repeat what they hear on talk shows or from slanted news. These posters are not so much interested in answers as in the pleasure of seeing the fight.
Bush is the Commander-in-Chief. Based on lies and false intellegence he gave to Congress they authorized the removeal of WMD and Saddam Hussein and sons. If they had correct and true information it is likely they would not have authorized that particular war.

Man you talk about narrow minded and way out of touch with what has gone on! One person doesn't get to do anything in this country, it's a collaboration of Presidential and Congressional actions that make things happen. Where were you on the vote by congress? There is a price to pay for freedom and democracy. Go back to school and take a history class will ya!

One person??? I don't know if I quite agree with that!
People attack each other because of the extreme lack of information and knowledge they have pertaining to the question at hand. If people followed what was going on in the world as closely as the Anna Nicole Smith burial trial, or whether or not Brittney Spears is in rehab this hour there would be many more educated answers....
everyone should peep at google news, nice little updates from numerous news sources! If you're interested!!

No one likes to see Americans die. I don't want to see innocent Iraqis die either. I did not support going to war with Iraq, but now that we are there, we might as well finish the job.

Your assertion that it was one person that got us into this "mess" is false. Congress authorized the war in Iraq. The one person that is most to blame is Saddam.
