I think he's been doing the right thing overall. Some of the specific tactics being done within Iraq may need to be adjusted, but that is why he has military experts below him. They are supposed to figure out how to accomplish what needs to be done.
Even Bill Clinton, in 1998 called for regieme change in Iraq after a joint British/US attack on Iraq targets..."The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people," Clinton said.
Clinton also stated that, while other countries also had weapons of mass destruction, Hussein is in a different category because he has used such weapons against his own people and against his neighbors.
So, you can see that the Clintons and the Bushs both wanted regieme change in Iraq.

Obviously you are an expert in military tactics. However, declaring a war against a people that did not attack us, sending in too few troops, not securing massive caches of weapons, etc. do not make good war tactics. We are in the middle of a civil war that he created, Iran, which war deterred by Saddam is now free to expand its agenda, and we went from a beloved country on 9/11 to the most hated country in the world. If that is the right thing then I hope he never screws up!

I think that Bush is an idiot. That's just my opinion. I don't go preaching it, if someone asks what I think of Bush, I'll tell them. I don't hate him and I don't think that he's the worst president ever... I just think he's an idiot.

One guarantee when becoming president is that about half the country is going to hate your guts no matter what you do.

I didn't vote for him. I think he is taking this country to a new low. We now have enemies that we never had before. I think when he leaves, our allies and enemies will think of us favorably again.
