Looking for a reasonable priced hotel for a couple days in San Diego near the ipayone center or something not to far from the airport.

It's clean, close to the airport and the Ipayone center (Sports Arena) and the least expensive of the Sea World/Airport/Old Town hotels. I don't recommend any on Morena Blvd - they are old and usually in very bad condition.
