there any jobs that pay well but have evening and/or night hours? i need to bring in income i cant afford to just stay home. does anyone know of any jobs?

It depends on what you mean by "pays well". You cant be so picky. You need the evening hours, so take whatevers available.
I have a young child, and I spent 18 months doing call centres at nights (working 5pm to midnight). Paid between $8 & $10 per hour
My son hated it because when I said goodbye to him at daycare every morning, he knew he wouldnt seem me until the next morning. He got very clingy!!!
Now that I have finally got a daytime job, he's back to his normal self, because now he sees me both morning and nights.

How about direct sales? I sell Mary Kay and love it. I make my own hours and have fun while making money. I was able to quit my full time job with a fortune 500 company to stay home with my children. email me if you would like the facts sdoshi@marykay.com

What line work are you in now? Some jobs pay "shift differential" for evening/night hours, which means they pay slightly more for working off hours. Most companies that operate on three shifts pay shift differential (hospitals, factories, warehouses, etc...).

What kind of help were you "declined" for?
Stripping comes to mind...j/k. Are you a single parent, who will watch your children when you are not home at night? How much is "well-paying" to you?
