Is there a way to change certain icons on my laptop?

I know how to change some of the icons but on my desktop I cant change the Internet explorer icon or the My Bluetooth Places Icon. When I right click there isnt the option for properties for the bluetooth and the IE icon just opens up the internet settings. Is there any way I can change these?? Also in My Computer is it possible to change the C and D drive icons??? And finally I have an external Harddrive and the first day I used it it had the icon but now it shows that pic/icon that comes up when the icon cant be found - is there a way to get it back or to change that??

Also can anyone give me any websites that have good Icons in the ico. format??

there are numerous programs that can change your icons in my computer and other parts of windows
the trick is to use the right program as some can mess up your system files and registry

with regards to your missing icons,in a situation like this i would use a system restore to before the icons went missing,but if you can find a tool to replace the missing icons a system restore wont be nessecary
