OKAY! i have been in your situation before...about 5 years ago. i was 21 weeks and i had a "little spotting" i asked around and i was told that if i had sex the night before that is prolly what caused it. i had been having period type cramps and LOTS of gas and pressure like i was getting diarrhea...but if i passed the gas i felt better. i thought everything was peachy. UNFORTUNATLY at about 11:30 that night my water broke and my daughter was stillborn. i lost my baby....i had NO idea that i was experincing preterm labor. when the drs heard i had been "spotting" and having cramps they were VERY upset. if i had known, i may have been able to prevent my loss. CALL YOUR DR!! you DON"T want to go through or even come CLOSE to going through what i did! good luck to you!

I am aprox. 23 weeks along, and althought the cramping of what are assumed to be braxton hicks contractions, its not them that bothers me. I have been cramping a little in my lower back and into my abdominal area, and my doctors answer for that is that my uterus is stretching allowing more room for the baby. The bleeding even as little as it may be is still something that you do need to talk to the doctor about. Are you still feeling the baby move? Thats one thing they will possibly ask you. Dont let the stress and worry get to you about the baby until you talk to your doctors. Its still very possible that you and your baby are perfectly fine. Hang in there and get ahold of your doctor ASAP!! Good Luck to you and your little one!! Many prayers!!!

It depends did you just have an internal exam because a doctor poking around can cause that if thats the case and it doesnt stop within 24 of the exam call your doctor. If you have not had an exam and this is occuring then you need to call your doctors asap because something could be wrong.

no its dont sound normal to me, if you were to have "some" bleeding in the first trimester then it'll be considered normal but because you are bleeding in the second trimester, i would go to the hospital asap! and the contractions dont sound to good neither, its better to go to the hospital before its to late, bcause it you were going into labor right now then they would have a better chance at stopping it right now!! you dont wanna go through that!...
