my guy friend has a problem. he messed with girl who he found out later was a "hood rat". the girl came and told him she was pregnant. he made plans to take care of her and the baby. she decided to go run off and bang another bunch of guys. my guy friend moved on but gives the girl money for the kid. come to find out now,--- SHE says his name isn't on the birth cert. SHE doesn't want to go to child support court, and SHE has said that she is making him pay for moving on. SHE will only let him see the kid when SHE wants. it's all about what she wants!! is there a way for this to be resolved by ordering a paternity test that is manatory? he doesn't even know where the girl lives! ok, and he doesn't even know her last name. we can trace some things but how do we do this so she can't make his life miserable and to properly take care, and see his daughter? this is so messed up. and i agree, this is gross, and irresponsible on both sides...but any ideas and what are PA laws reguarding this

he is sure the kid is his but not 100% sure. she lies and plays games and she tells him this."i am gonna pay you back for moving on so don't plan on seeing your kid much. it's about what i want anyways." he is starting to hate her for using the child, but he's poor and he's from philadelphia and he's not educated when it comes to family laws sooo, help would be ok, you know. thanks. because we don't have kids together and we're good friends for 4 yrs, this crap with baby's mama has been going on for 7 and he just told me.

Man, what a mess. First off, he shouldn't be giving her any more money until he has an address on her. When he does have the baby alone, he should take the child and get them both tested for paternity. If he finds out that he is the father, then he should get a lawyer and sue for visitation if not custody. Time to grow up, and act like an adult. Get this stuff taken care of properly. Otherwise this will be his life. Unacceptable. I wish him well.

Let me get this straight, he thinks the child is his and he does not even know the Mothers last name. The Mother is obviously just using the child as a pawn. Unless your friend knows her last name, HTH is he gonna be able to take her to Court for a Paternity test. Maybe he needs to skip a few payments and make the Mother come forth with some evidence.( the child is probably not seeing any of that money anyways) He really needs a lawyer, but hes gotta know the Mothers last name to even file charges against her.

#1 poor guy!!! and yes he can do something about all of this...first thing he needs is the girls last name...do some investigating get the last name and the go to child support court...the guy ca file too....he can tell them the situation and then that he believes this is his child and he is ready to take resposibility but he just wants a paternity test because of the girls rep...then once the test is in (by the way he wont have to pay...i believe she will) if the child is his he can demand visitation and you know by law even if he doesnt pay support she cant keep the child from him...if he gets his visitation rights and she plays games she is in contempt of court....there are rights and laws to help the guys too...especially the ones who want to step up for thier kids....tell him good luck!!!

Ask around and get the girl's name, and where she lives. If she has a phone number, you may be able to get this information through the internet. Get an attorney. He can get the court to force her to take a DNA test to determine if the child is really his. If it is, He will bring it to court if necessary. Visitation and amount of child support will be determined by the court.
Call the district attorney in your area to find out where you can get a free attorney if you do not have the money to pay one.

So your friend had unprotected sex with someone he doesn't even know well enough to know her full name? Wow. Just wow. Was he born stupid or did his parents drop him on his head a lot when he was a kid?
As for establishing paternity of this child, he needs to consult a lawyer.

He can have a DNA done but he will have to pay for it. Or he can take her on the Maury Show and have it done. He doesn't have to pay her anything if he thinks the baby isn't his. If he didn't sign the birth cert. then he doesn't have to pay anything. Tell him to stop with everything he is doing for her. Make her turn him into the child's support office. Then when she does he should request for a DNA test to be done on him and the baby and he won't have to pay for it. The best of luck to him!!!! Make her eat her words.

oh this one simple...When she drops the kid off for a weekend your friend keeps the kid,he goes to familycourt the fallowing monday and files for emergcy coustody order state everything and that shes hideing his kid from her and haveing the kid in dangerous sistuations make sure he states he in fear for his kids safty and also he shuld go to county records and get his kids birth cert that will provide a lot of info also he shuld go to county child support and open a case agenst her right away they will do a dna right away.When he goes to family court he needs to request a protictive order and state parentail kidnapping as the risk,he needs to flip the tables completly on her when she comes to get the kid dont answer the door or better yet go stay with family for a while some place she dosent know of.theirs no coustody order so he has every right to keep the kid.

One, the chick is a hoocie. Two, she probably doesn't know who the baby's daddy is. Three, some females due to their own unhappiness come to destroy relationships. Its probably not his child. He needs her last name, go down to 34 s. 11th street and petition the court for paternity. It might cost $300 unless you can prove you are low income
