Indians are strange - they pray to Goddess Shakti but ill-treat their women! Why are we like that?

Enlighten us.. It would be nice to hear from women who have treated other women badly

-I know it is difficult to accept - that we were jealous because another girl was in love with your favorite brother and you made sure you broke the relationship, or u were jealous of your own sister and messed her life, or that the other girl was so innocent that you had to play games and destroy her life)

women are treated bad in every corner of the world.
until 1st century A D matrimonial system was common but then men became wiser and tried to prove them superior than women and they tricked them.
Dhondo Keisha Carve and Jyoti Phylae tried to restore the dignity and respect for women by educating them and to made them stand shoulder to shoulder with man.
But to me they failed in their attempt and brought more misery to women by not educating men to work in the kitchen and other house hold jobs and to respect the work women were doing.
its time for all Indian men to respect the value of women's contribution to make society balanced,happy.

Not only in India, anywhere, the people worship Goddes-Shakti, or Amma, they cannot ill treat the women. The things are happen only according to their punya-papa phalalu. Even in the countries where God has been worshiped, in that country also some of the men were cheated, illtreated, and murdered. In the Jail in any country, men are more than the women.

It happens every where in this world. In India still women have most independence and most of the crimes against woman are by woman only. In our country atleast woman is not cosidered as a commodity like in the west. If there are inequlities those mostly other woman is responsible or actively contributing.
In our Indian families men is responsible for earning and whatever he earns he mostly spends on his family (spouse and children). Whatever facilities we avail in family the ladies are given most preference in every place.

Do you know what was the condition of Indian women 40 years ago? Things have drastically improved. How else do you think is it possible for women to find jobs in almost all feilds?

Infact the problem is taht women have started nagging about their social status, their dignity, and their duties. Women want beleive that they can do anything that a man can do. They wanna share equal social stastus. But when it comes to facing the world like a man does, her dignity comes into picture. If a guy comes late into office, he would face the worst wrath in his life; but if a woman drops in a bit late, the boss cannot say a word because her dignity comes into picture over there. A guy goes to office standing in the bus, even if he finds a seat, he would offer it to some aged needy person if around. but a lady would never ever offer her seat to anyone even if the other person is badly in need. Her dignity is always larger than any persons need. household women keep nagging about their jobs. They are sick of cooking, washing taking care of elders and the kids, etc. Did their man ever say to them, 'I am sick of those un-co-operative people in my office, you earn for yourself.'

The fact is the God gave different created man and woman with diffrerent capabilities. He want them to work in co-operation for developing a harmony in the mankind. But we started to nag about our duties and we took our rights a bit to liberally. The resul;t - huge imbalance in the society. If we really wanna bring things back to normal, we'll first need to bring ourselves back to normal.

Indians respect women as a daughter .sister,wife and a mother but if you want us to respect modern girls selling themselves for highest bidder,we can not do it.Parents used to be proud of their daughters but unfortunately,few parents do not talk about their kids anymore.So called Women liberation is good for the societies where divorce rate is more than 50% and children have to go for DNA test to find about their real father.Women is still a SHAKTI in India.
